Model 1: Cube
This model was fairly easy to make, it’s just a simple cube with a whole in the middle of it. In addition to it being a simple object, we also had a tutorial to follow along to which made the whole process quite easy.
Model 2: Lampshade
I struggled with his model a little bit at first, I was most confused on bringing an image into the canvas and sketching it to turn it from a 2D image to a 3D product.
Model 3: Bowler Hat
This model was a bowler hat and was difficult. There was no tutorial and I wasn’t able to follow along during class as much as I would’ve liked to. I missed the first bit of dealing with Fusion 360 and was much slower with the program than I’d like to be.
Model 4: Aviators
This last model killed me…. I had no idea where to even begin. I know you said it’d be easier than TinkerCAD but I just don’t see how. Maybe I have the brain of a 5 year old (which obviously I do not), so clearly I just am missing the basics of this program. To be completely honest I couldn’t get it past a sketch and then it shut out on me before I could save it. I will continue to try and figure it out… wish me luck.
